During individual therapy, client’s comfort and trust in their therapist is critical to success. It is essential that people feel understood and not judged. I form a partnership with each client, respecting their individuality, and helping them to clearly define their current needs and goals.
Our work may include understanding how one’s history impacts current relationships and learning to let go. We may address problems with anxiety, depression and grief/loss that keep us “stuck” and unfulfilled. We may work to master the fears and insecurities that create conflict, compromise our family and/or social relationships, our performance at work, our ambitions and, ultimately, our happiness.
